About Us

Dr. Carmen Traywick returned to her home state of South Carolina in 2009 to open May River Dermatology, LLC. Her mission was to become the premier provider of dermatologic services in the southeast.  She clearly understood and valued the importance of providing patients with personal, timely, and professional care.  In order to fulfill her mission, she created a practice that is welcoming and provides excellent professional care.  She continually works with her staff to recognize that the experience for a patient starts from the first phone call, progresses through the visit, and is ongoing through the follow-up care.  These golden standards of a patient’s experience is why the practice has been voted “Best Dermatologist” since 2011.
